MOT Gaming — Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2026-05-17
MOT is a place for gamers to find squads, compete, and connect. To keep it safe and fun for everyone, we ask all users to follow these guidelines.
✅ Be a Good Teammate
- Treat every player with respect, regardless of skill level, background, gender, sexuality, or origin
- Give honest squad ratings — the rating system only works if people are fair
- Show up when you commit — flaking hurts real people's play sessions
- Celebrate good play and support teammates after losses
🚫 What's Not Allowed
- Harassment and bullying — targeted personal attacks, sustained unwanted contact, doxxing
- Hate speech — slurs or content targeting race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or national origin
- Sexual content — explicit sexual material or sexual approaches to other users
- Child safety — any sexual content involving minors is an immediate permanent ban and report to law enforcement
- Impersonation — pretending to be another player, streamer, or public figure
- Spam and scams — unsolicited promotional messages, phishing links, or fraud
- Cheating promotion — advertising cheat software, exploits, or account boosting services
- Self-harm — content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instruction on self-harm or suicide
⚡ Enforcement Ladder
Level 1 — Warning: First offence for minor violations. You'll receive a notice explaining what rule was broken.
Level 2 — Temporary mute (24h–7d): Repeated or moderate violations. Your DM and posting abilities are suspended.
Level 3 — Temporary suspension (7d–30d): Serious or repeated violations. Account access is suspended.
Level 4 — Permanent ban: Severe violations (hate speech, CSAM, doxxing) or repeated serious offences. No appeal.

🛡️ Our Commitment
We are committed to being especially welcoming to women, LGBTQ+ players, disabled gamers, and anyone historically excluded from gaming communities. We take targeted harassment of these groups seriously and respond faster.
These guidelines apply everywhere on MOT — posts, chats, profiles, squads, and events.
